Computer Lab: Rules & Procedures
Lab Rules
1. Cell phones must be placed in the phone holder at the beginning of the hour, and may be retrieved by the student at the end of class.
2. No food, drink, gum, etc. is allowed in the computer lab. Water is okay.
3. Be respectful of the computer lab and use all equipment responsibly.
4. Be careful with the chairs in this lab. Keep the wheels away from the cords and computers located in your area.
5. Make sure your computer area is clean before leaving the room. This includes the floor area where you were sitting. Report any issues with your computer or any technology you were using.
Internet Use
1. Students must have a signed Internet Use Agreement on file in the library before being allowed to go on the Internet.
2. Students may only use Internet sites directly related to the assignment or project being worked on. Playing computer games during class is not tolerated.
3. Student accounts through the school (student computer logins, student Gmail, student Weebly pages, etc.) are NOT personal accounts. These accounts have been created for school use, so please use them responsibly and appropriately.
4. Students who abuse the Internet or disregard the rules of the Internet Use Agreement will receive disciplinary action and lose Internet privileges.
